Why send your child to St. Marys NS?
A small rural school offers something truly special. With small class numbers, every child is known personally, not lost in the crowd. Teachers have the time to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges, and interests, allowing for individualised teaching and close academic monitoring.
We are strong on academics and hold high expectations for every learner, helping them reach their full potential. Lessons are carefully planned, focused, and adapted to each child’s ability, ensuring solid foundations in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking. Because classes are small, teachers can quickly identify gaps in learning and provide targeted support, helping students reach their full academic potential.
We offer an abundance of activities including football, basketball, soccer, tin whistle, chess, summer provision camp, after school club, creative connections to name but a few.
Our school is a close-knit community where children, families, and teachers build meaningful relationships. Students feel safe, valued, and confident to participate, ask questions, and take pride in their achievements.
Most importantly, everyone is welcome. We celebrate diversity, encourage respect, and create an environment where every child feels included, supported, and motivated to succeed both academically and personally.
